SOLSTICE CAMP – ONLY 5 Days To Go!

Please see reminders below!

1) Mascot competition
2) Stall for Saturday’s Evening Carnival – (Craft, Food, Games etc based on the country you was allocated)
3) FULL Uniform – Please ensure ALL Leaders and Young people have their Uniform for Sunday
4) Flags – If you have a Flag please bring on Sunday to Parade at the service!
5) Pom Pom’s – Please don’t forget! You need these 1 per person for Sunday Morning.
6) Arrival Times:
i. You can start to set up camp after 5pm on Thursday 17th July (Please honour this time we have schools using the site beforehand) You need to check in With Myself (Nat or Phil Lowde prior to setting up camp) Please Note your Kit is you responsibility – There’s no security on site…
ii. Young people should not be on site until 5:30pm Friday 18th July (We will have large vehicles accessing the site so this is a safety precaution)
iii. The Group Booking Leader needs to register the Group at the Bookings Tent (Big Field)
iv. Drop Off – On Friday Cars will be sent onto the big field to drop off – (They will be NO Short stay Car Park – So can all Leaders meet their Young People at the Top Field)
v. Long Stay Car Park – If you are staying you will be shown where to park – (Top Field) All Cars Must have a Contact Name and Number in Windscreen so we can contact if needed)
vi. There will be NO (Very Limited) access to the actual car park – If you require access please contact me before Wednesday – Otherwise the Car Park Attendants will NOT Let you down the track!
7) In-door accommodation there’s now very limited room – so if indoor is required please contact me ASAP.
8) LITTER – Please can we ask that you BURN as much rubbish as possible please
9) Friday at 9:00pm there will be a Leaders meeting – this will explain activities, locations, Safety brief ETC!
10) Thursday/Friday/Saturday Eve the Bar Will be open
11) NAN Forms – Each group to send to their Respective DC’s
12) Health Forms and Consent Forms – To be Held by the Group Leader.

I would suggest as a just in case – each group thinks about a wet-weather programme – bring something you can do as a group – we can all share ideas and use if the weather does turn on us! But let’s hope it’s nice!
