Massive Well Done to both of them!

We thought we would give you an update now on finishing day 2 of the last leg of our challenge after some much needed sleep!

Day 1 we swam for 6 and half hours cover nearly 7 miles…. at that point we were shattered and in pain and feeling very cold!

We then got up the next day ready to face the last leg of the journey and complete Lake Windermere! We swam for a good hour and half through some crazy high waves and very choopy waters, getting to about a 2 mile mark, to a point we along with our support crew decide this was too dangerous and we wouldn’t make it to the end! We were told we couldn’t swim through a certain bay, so we had to get dropped off just after the bay. Meaning we missed the last half mile/mile of the lake.

WE DID FINISH THE CHALLENGE.

We are super proud of what we have achieved and accomplishing this massive challenge.

Again we both just want to thank West Yorkshire Scouts for lending us a canoe as a second support boat to Uncle Chris’s boat which with out these we wouldn’t have been able to do it! So a massive thank you to everyone one who’s been on the support boats across all the swims and everyone who’s been there supporting us through this whole journey!

Again one last push for sponsors as it’s not too late and don’t forget if we hit the £2k mark Nathan will be shaving his head at the fun day on Saturday!
