This is our regular monthly meeting for all volunteers across Bradford North District. It’s a space to connect, share updates, ask questions, and work together to support amazing Scouting across our area.

These meetings are open to Section Leaders, Group Leads, District Team members, and anyone volunteering in the District. Whether you’re new to your role or have been around a while, everyone’s welcome.

We’ll cover key news, upcoming events, support available, and anything else that helps you feel confident in your role and connected to the wider team.

11/11/2025 – At the meeting we will be collecting ideas for District Events for 2026/27 for all sections – Squirrels,. Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers and any interest for Leaders (and possibility of Young People ) to form a trip to Poland in 2027 with a day visit to the World Scout Jamboree.

Please can all Groups make sure that there is a representative from the Group to bring ideas and to take back notices to the Group to escalate to all Volunteer Members.

Please can all Groups/ sections bring with them their Headcount Numbers for end of October ( if not already given)

There is to be a District Lead Team Volunteers meeting (GLV’s District Team Leads and District Section Team Leads ) on Monday 1st December at Ebenezer’s at 7pm – if you are in one of these roles and unable to attend please can you send a member of your Team

Reminder – if you are attending a Community Remembrance service this weekend and have not submitted a RA to District, please can you send one to nightsaway@bradfordnorthscouts.org.uk.

Please can you remember to send any photos of any events or presentations to be shared to our website via seth.sheard@bradfordnorthscouts.org.uk so that we can promote the good things we achieve in Scouts to the wider audience
