Great to see some of our groups making the most of the county events put on for everyone!
Couldn’t be prouder of these three Cubs at West Yorkshire Scouts “Sixer and Seconder Training day”. They have worked with other Cubs from across the county, learnt more about the history of Scouting, talked about what it means to be a sixer, created an A to Z of activities and discussed how to run a pack forum. In their teams they also invented a new game and taught it to the other Cubs there, played lots of new games and even had time for a song song at the end. They have all earned (and been awarded) the first element of the “You Shape Award”. It’s especially nice as a leader when an adult from another group comes to tell you how amazing one of your Cubs is!!! Big “Thankyou” to Wendy (ACC Cubs) and her fab team for organising and running today’s event at Bradley Wood Scout Campsite 🙂
