Blackhills strives in ensuring all centres have plenty of room and space for all Scout activities, including but not limited to kitchen facilities, toilets, showers, activity rooms and many bunk beds

The Rhodes Hut
The Rhodes Hut
Being the most modernised centre, The Rhodes Hut offers spacious facilities with a combi-boiler allowing constant hot water and heating during your stay.
Features:
- Space for 36 people in dormitory configurations
- All rooms are centrally heated, carpeted with mattresses, have energy-saving lightbulbs and interconnecting mains and smoke detectors.
- Carpeted activity hall
- Toilets with sinks
- Shower facility
- Large, fully equipped kitchen for hygienic preparation and serving. Storage included to organise cooking utensils.
- Cutlery for 36, an electric kettle, microwave and four slice toaster is also available.
- Gas and electricity within booking price
- Exclusive adjacent camping site

The Grimley Centre
The Grimley Centre
Being a facility of considerable history, The Grimley Centre offers a modern experience with a combi-boiler that provides flexible hot water and heating throughout your stay.
Features:
- Space for 16 people in dormitory configurations
- All rooms are centrally heated, carpeted with mattresses, have energy-saving lightbulbs and interconnecting mains and smoke detectors.
- Activity Hall
- Toilets with sinks
- (Recently renovated) Shower facility
- Large, fully equipped kitchen for hygienic preparation and serving. Storage included to organise cooking utensils (includes, six burner cooker with large oven, fridge freezer, single washing sink with hot and cold water).
- Cutlery for 16, an electric kettle, microwave and four slice toaster is also available.
- Gas and electricity within booking price
- Exclusive adjacent camping site
The Joseph Eaton Centre
The Joseph Eaton Centre
Being named after the owner, Joseph Eaton, The Joseph Eaton Centre is ideal for training, AGM’s and socials with fully ramped access.
Features:
- Can host a maximum of 36 people with anymore above this needing to pay the Day/Evening Visit fee.
- Practical ‘L-shaped’ social room with windows and comfortable chairs
- Bar available (prior to arrangement)
- Practice tutor/lecture room
- All rooms are centrally heated, carpeted, have energy-saving lightbulbs and interconnecting mains and smoke detectors.
- Easy access kitchen facilities fully equipped kitchen for hygienic preparation and serving ( Six burner commercial gas cooker with oven, fridge freezer, washing sinks and hand wash basin with hot and cold water)
- Cutlery for 16, an electric kettle, microwave and four slice toaster is also available.
- Male and female toilet facilities plus alarmed disabled are provided with hot and cold water.
- Gas and electricity within booking price
- Exclusive adjacent camping site
Embrace the outdoors at Blackhills, suitable for individual hammocks to full troop camps.
Features:
- 18 campsites for you to choose from
- Can accommodate a maximum of 600 campers
- Each site has a campfire and is comfortably near 5 water points
- Two use toilet block facilities nearby or within walking distance with one centrally heated with hot water and showers.
- Site visit recommended to tailor your experience to your needs

Blackhills offers a variety of leader and self-led activities for a range of ages and abilities.
All activities need to be booked – with this being done through our activity co-ordinator or on-site warden at the time.
Please note that leader-led activities need to be booked 4 weeks in advance.

*Please note: Air Rifle, Archery, Axe Throwing, Climbing, Abseiling, Crate Stacking and Bush Craft are seasonal activities and will run peak time between 1st April and 31st October
