This opportunity is for current volunteers of Bradford North and beyond. If you are not a volunteer for Scouts, consider starting your Scouting adventure.

Ready to brush up on your knots, lashings and all things pioneering? Join us for a fun, hands-on weekend where you’ll get the chance to:

  • Learn how to use and care for ropes the right way
  • Master some really useful knots, lashings, whipping & splicing
  • Try out pulley systems and clever camp gadgets
  • Work together to build at least two usable pioneering projects

It’s practical, relaxed, and designed to move at your pace. Perfect for volunteers who want to feel more confident teaching Scouts the skills to build bridges, towers and camp gadgets.

All meals are included — just bring along your own evening refreshments. Not staying over? No problem. You can still take part if you’re happy to stay late (till 9ish) and return in the morning (around 9am).

Cost: £30 per person

Come along, tie a few knots, build something brilliant — and take pioneering back to your Scouts with confidence!
