Congratulations on starting your Cubs volunteer journey and becoming a new Cub Scout volunteer. 

We would like to invite you to one of our online ‘Welcome to Cubs’ sessions. This will give you a brief insight into Cubs and the support and resources available. This will help make sure your Cub volunteer team is equipped with the information they need to run a fun and varied programme and keep the section open sustainably.

These are intended for:

• Group lead volunteers who are opening a new Cubs Pack
• Volunteers starting a new Cubs Pack
• New Cubs volunteers starting at an existing Cubs Pack

This hour-long webinar, is run by the Growth & Communities team who will take you through the basic information that you need to know about opening a Cub Pack or starting as a Cubs volunteer. 

This will include:

• The basics of what a Cub Pack is
• The learning available and ratios needed
• An overview on the programme
• Useful information about the context for young people in Cubs
• Further support available to you.
