Congratulations on starting your Cubs volunteer journey and becoming a new Cub Scout volunteer.
We would like to invite you to one of our online ‘Welcome to Cubs’ sessions. This will give you a brief insight into Cubs and the support and resources available. This will help make sure your Cub volunteer team is equipped with the information they need to run a fun and varied programme and keep the section open sustainably.
These are intended for:
- Group lead volunteers who are opening a new Cubs Pack
- Volunteers starting a new Cubs Pack
- New Cubs volunteers starting at an existing Cubs Pack
This hour-long webinar, is run by the Growth & Communities team who will take you through the basic information that you need to know about opening a Cub Pack or starting as a Cubs volunteer.
This will include:
- The basics of what a Cub Pack is
- The learning available and ratios needed
- An overview on the programme
- Useful information about the context for young people in Cubs
- Further support available to you.
If you think this session is for you, your group or any new Cub volunteers starting at your Pack then please sign up to one of the sessions.
