The Scheme:
The Explorer Scout Young Leaders’ Scheme (ESYLS) is the learning programme for Young Leaders. It contains 11 modules and 4 missions for them to work through whilst volunteering in their chosen section.
As well as developing valuable life skills, the scheme is an opportunity for Explorers to make a positive impact in their communities and to fulfil the service elements of many of the Top Awards in Scouts, or their Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. Recognition of achievement is available along the way, and on completion of the Scheme.
Event Information:
This event does offer Module A – Prepare for Take off for Young Leaders to learn the essentials and expectations. This is required if you have just started the scheme.
If you have transport issues you can stay over extra nights. We offer options for the duration of accommodation you want.
Booking is so much easier if you use a Computer rather than a Phone or Tablet.
Parents should delegate booking to their child.

All Young Leader Training Weekends are sponsored by West Yorkshire Scout County and are therefore cost free to Explorer Scout Young Leaders.
This covers accommodation, which this weekend is Indoor, and all Catering.
