🔥 IMPORTANT NOTICE – TEMPORARY FIRE BAN 🔥
At Blackhills Campsite, the safety of our visitors, volunteers and surrounding woodland is our top priority.
Due to the recent spell of hot, dry weather, we have made the decision to introduce a temporary ban on all fires across the entire campsite with immediate effect.
This means no campfires or fires in drums until further notice. We appreciate that campfires are a big part of the camping experience, but the current conditions significantly increase the risk of fire spreading, and we cannot take that chance.
We know this may be disappointing, but we’re sure you’ll understand that this decision has been made to protect our campsite, our wildlife, our visitors and the beautiful environment we all enjoy.
We will continue to monitor conditions closely and will let everyone know as soon as it is safe to lift the ban.
