Huge HUGE congratulations to this Explorer on earning his Young Leader Belt. He has completed all the requirements which included attending training weekends, supporting Leaders at weekly meetings and planning and running activities to enable Scouts and Cubs to achieve a variety of badges. All this, along with the equivalent of the basic 6 hour first aid training that every adult leader needs to hold a leader role, was actually completed just before the Covid-19 pandemic forced Scouting to be suspended in March 2020. It’s been a long wait to get this presented by our DC, but we finally managed to get everyone in the same place at the same time. Big thanks to Wendy for coming to Blackhills last week to present it.
